Christian von Maltzahn
PMP® Trainer · Project Management Consultant
For years, Christian von Maltzahn led projects externally at some of Germany’s largest companies — brought in when things were going off track or when project management needed to be built from the ground up. That experience comes directly into the training room.
In the public training sessions he works with each group personally — a maximum of eight participants per date. Questions that arise during the course are answered with examples from real project practice, not from the textbook.

“I’d had the materials in front of me for weeks — but it was only in the training that I understood how PMI actually thinks.”
“Not a lecture. The trainer answered our actual questions from day-to-day work — not from the course plan.”
“I’d expected four days not to be enough. They were — if you take the follow-up work seriously.”

What counts as experience
You do not need to have held the title of project manager. What matters is responsibility — for planning, decisions, delivery, and outcomes. This applies explicitly to a sub-project or a defined workstream within a larger initiative: anyone who has been accountable for the deliverables has led projects in the sense of PMI®.
What does not qualify: purely supporting work with no accountability for results.
Experience from the past ten years counts. Periods of parallel projects are not counted twice.
Three phases. One clear path.
All three phases are fully aligned with ECO 2026.
On-demand introduction
A mandatory part of the programme: general terminology definitions and an introduction to the PMBOK® Process Framework.
8 live core sessions
All eight core sessions live across 4 training days, 35+ contact hours, core hours typically 09:00 to 18:00. Exam logic, pattern recognition, and answer elimination run throughout all sessions — as a working method, not as a separate block. Small group of max. 8 participants.
Practice phase and PMP® exam
2,000+ practice questions in the Question Trainer, structured through the 30-Days Challenge. The exam should ideally be taken within 45 days of the final training day — this is also one of the conditions for Pass Protection Plus.
Pass Protection Plus – the pass guarantee for this training.
Anyone who does not pass the exam does not face it alone. The guarantee works in three steps – and if nothing helps in the end, you get your money back.
First attempt unsuccessful. Sigma Precioso covers the exam fee for the second attempt.
Second attempt unsuccessful. Free participation in a later training date.
Third attempt unsuccessful. Reimbursement of the course fee, less any amounts already refunded. Payments are made within fourteen days once all required evidence has been provided. The PMI® exam fee is not included in the course price.
Three conditions:
Full attendance on all training days.
The 30-Days Challenge has been completed in full, with a pass rate of at least 66 % per daily quiz. Compression to a minimum of 15 days is permitted.
The exam takes place no more than 45 days after the final training day.
One price. Everything included.
All prices include VAT.
Volume discount from the 2nd place onwards.
| Discount tier | Condition | Discount | Price incl. VAT |

A system that forces understanding.
Developed from what participants actually need — not from what a textbook considers sufficient. Passing the exam is the outcome, not the goal.
One structured preparation document per Core Session in the member area — agenda, six topic blocks, schedule and concrete learning objectives. The live day starts without a run-up.
90 minutes, six blocks per Core Session. At exam-critical points, Exam Reflex anchors are embedded — not the drilling of definitions, but the judgement the exam actually tests.
A condensed reference card per Core Session — all numbered Core Rules distilled into six sections. A companion through the preparation phase right up to exam day.
Training in German or English · Course materials in English — just like the PMP® exam itself.
