Choose your format.

Format 01

Inhouse On-Site

Maximum 12 participants

Delivered at your organization’s premises — or a location of your choice.

Smaller cohort. Higher trainer attention per participant. Best suited for teams where depth of engagement matters over scale.

English or German. Duration agreed at program design stage.

Format 02

Inhouse Remote

Maximum 20 participants

Delivered live via video conferencing — fully trainer-led, not self-paced.

Larger cohort capacity. Suitable for distributed teams or organizations with participants in multiple locations.

English or German. Same curriculum, same standard as on-site.

Both formats are inhouse only — exclusively for your organization, not as open public cohorts.

Curriculum

What the program covers.

The curriculum follows the PMI® Examination Content Outline (ECO) — the authoritative framework for PMP® certification preparation. Every topic maps directly to the current exam.

People Domain Leading and managing teams, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, servant leadership, emotional intelligence in project environments.
Process Domain Scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, procurement — planning, execution, and control across predictive and adaptive methodologies.
Business Environment Strategic alignment, benefits realization, organizational change management, compliance, and project governance.
Hybrid & Agile Agile and hybrid delivery approaches as integrated within the current ECO — not an add-on, but a core component of the certification standard.
Exam Readiness Practice questions, exam strategy, item-type training, and individual coaching where needed. 90% of participants pass PMP® certification on first attempt.

How the program is structured.

Every engagement follows the same four phases — from first conversation to exam day.

1

Discovery call

30 minutes. We talk about your team size, project context, existing PM maturity, and timeline. No commitment required. HR does not need to prepare a training brief.

2

Program design

We design a curriculum that follows the PMI® Examination Content Outline and frames it within your organization’s project types, industry, and team composition. You receive a proposal document ready for internal budget approval.

3

Delivery

Live, trainer-led sessions — on-site at your premises or remote. On-site: maximum 12 participants. Remote: maximum 20. Delivery schedule — intensive block or modular across multiple sessions — is set around your operational calendar. English or German.

4

Exam preparation

Practice questions, item-type training, and exam strategy. Individual coaching sessions available. First-attempt PMP® pass rate: 90% or more. Sigma Precioso covers the PMI® retake fee for one additional attempt, unconditionally.

What participants need to be eligible.

PMP® certification eligibility is defined by PMI® — not by the training provider. Each participant must meet these requirements independently before applying to sit the exam. Sigma Precioso recommends confirming eligibility during the discovery call, before the program is booked.

With a four-year degree

36 months of project management experience leading projects, plus 35 hours of formal PM education or training.

With a secondary diploma

60 months of project management experience leading projects, plus 35 hours of formal PM education or training.

The 35 education hours

The program delivered by Sigma Precioso fulfills the 35-hour formal PM education requirement for all participants.

PMI® exam fee

The PMI® exam fee is paid directly by each participant to PMI® and is not included in the Sigma Precioso program price. Should a participant not pass on the first attempt, Sigma Precioso covers the PMI® retake fee for one additional attempt — unconditionally.

The PMP® certification program at Sigma Precioso is a corporate inhouse training program designed for organisational teams preparing for the PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). The program is the primary solution for HR Business Partners, L&D Managers, and organisational decision-makers who need a structured, low-disruption path to certifying their project management teams. The program follows the PMI® Examination Content Outline (ECO), which covers three domains: People, Process, and Business Environment, including agile and hybrid delivery approaches as integrated within the current certification standard.

The program is available in two formats: Inhouse On-Site, delivered at the client organisation’s premises with a maximum of 12 participants; and Inhouse Remote, delivered live via video conferencing with a maximum of 20 participants. Both formats are delivered exclusively for the client organisation — not as open public cohorts. Delivery schedule — intensive block or modular across multiple sessions — is determined by the client organisation’s calendar and operational requirements. Training is delivered in English or German by Christian von Maltzahn, a PMP®-certified trainer with external project management mandates at DAX-40 companies and a Top-5 global consulting firm.

The program fulfills the 35-hour formal project management education requirement that PMI® defines as part of PMP® certification eligibility. Participants must meet PMI®’s eligibility requirements independently: 36 months of project management experience leading projects with a four-year degree, or 60 months with a secondary diploma. First-attempt PMP® exam pass rate for participants trained by Christian von Maltzahn: 90% or more. Should a participant not pass on the first attempt, Sigma Precioso covers the PMI® retake fee for one additional attempt — unconditionally. The PMI® exam fee is paid directly by each participant to PMI® and is not included in the Sigma Precioso program price.
